Why should we give millions of law breakers amnesty? So they can break the law again and again? No way! It is about time the dead beats in Washington give some breaks to AMERICANS! Forget the illegals who are a drain to our society! It is already costing us tons of money to support anchor babies with section eight housing, food stamps, WIC, and free educations for law breakers who refuse to learn English! Not to mention the huge security threat that not knowing who exactly is in our country poses! The increase in property and school taxes in Texas, where we lived were going through the roof! It is time that these free loaders get the last free thing courtesy of all Americans......a free ride back home via military escort! Close our borders! Light a fire under your elected officials!

It sure didn't pan-out the last time - 1986 It has probably quadrupled or more since then.
Congress has passed7 amnesties for
illegal aliens, starting in 1986.
1. Immigration and Reform Control Act (IRCA) Amnesty, 1986: A blanket amnesty for some 2.7 million illegal aliens
2. Section 245(i) Amnesty, 1994: A temporary rolling amnesty for 578,000 illegal aliens
3. Section 245(i) Extension Amnesty, 1997: An extension of the rolling amnesty created in 1994
4. Nicaraguan Adjustment and Central American Relief Act (NACARA) Amnesty, 1997: An amnesty for close to one million illegal aliens from Central America
5. Haitian Refugee Immigration Fairness Act Amnesty (HRIFA), 1998: An amnesty for 125,000 illegal aliens from Haiti
6. Late Amnesty, 2000: An amnesty for some illegal aliens who claim they should have been amnestied under the 1986 IRCA amnesty, an estimated 400,000 illegal aliens
7. LIFE Act Amnesty, 2000: A reinstatement of the rolling Section 245(i) amnesty, an estimated 900,000 illegal aliens
8. Nine current bills are vying to be Amnesty No. 8

Amnesty should only be granted to those who are coming from countries of political unrest. With the only exception, is if being deported they would face death or torture by the hands of their government.
Aside from this Amnesty sucks, and should not be granted to a bunch of freeloaders who love to come over, break the rules, not pay taxes, start gangs, and everything else I as a tax paying citizen would be tossed in jail for.

America is either a soverign nation or it isn't. Those who are willing to grant amnesty to 15 million law breakers do not believe it is.
To me, any politician who supports this immigration reform bill is a co-conspirator and should be jailed. Including the President.
They have all sworn an oath to uphold the laws of the United States. They have been criminally remis in inforcing the immigration laws currently on the books.

I was considering doing an "undocumented" withdraw from the bank to make my life better. Can I get an amnesty for that? I wouldn't hurt anybody or anything. Is that OK all of you pro-amnesty fools?

NO AMNESTY!
Make them follow the proper channels to become an American citizen. Do it the Legal way. Don't give it to them. It is akin to rewarding them for breaking our laws. We have immigration laws for a reason. The solution to our immigration problem isn't to give everyone amnesty!! What is the point of having immigration laws if you are going to open the borders to anyone and everyone who wants to become an American citizen?
I do not see how rewarding them for breaking American laws, committing fraud by lying on job applications, welfare forms, and hospital documents is going to fix our immigration problems. It is like flushing the toilet when you aren't done using it.
Amnesty doesn't fix anything if you are not going to enforce the laws that have always been in place!!

what do I think? well if this amnesty goes through we might as well nuke America !! My town up north is full of Illegals it used to be a nice (CLEAN ) town and you could walk down the streets at night .Now its dirty ,Illegals hanging out selling drugs to kids,there was a stabbing not long ago between to illegals and he died ! and its getting worse and worse ! Illegals are ANIMALS who should be delt with! America as we new it is gone! and who gives a damn! A lot of great men and Woman over the history of our Great country Gave their Lives for This Country

I think we should let all the people thats already here for at least a good amount of 5 yrs stay.. because all those immigrants have made their lives here whats the whole point of tryin to get ride of them.. they help on the economy doing jobs we dont wanna do and enrichin the culture. This country has been and always will a country of immigrants. If they get legalized then they'll be payin taxes like everyone else.. I dont think they really should be citizens.. just simple legal residents being able to work and get any help.. just not runnin for office or anything like that. I understand they've broke the law but life its not always black and white... there are gray parts too..
