I'm depressed, burned out, I hate everyone, I repress anger then have big emotional breakddowns, and have ocd when it comes to cleaning and washing my hands. Today I had a mental breakdown in my shower. I hate the way I live. I want to move away from the people I live with. Sometimes I feel like throwing myself on the floor. During my emotional breakdowns, which are triggered by anything that reminds me of how bad things are going for me,I start to hysterically cry and I want to scream but I don't b/c don't want my family to hear me. I tried finding a counselor but no one has answered me back. I can't think straight enough to figure out how to get myself out of the is mess. Help me!

What you need is a nice week long vaction where it's secluded and when your there you can scream your frustrations out and no one but yourself can hear your screams. But for the OCD you need to see a shrink who can prescribe a medicine that will help you. ALso you need to talk with all your firneds and family and tell them how you feel and that if you decide to just scream you can without them been scared. So first get medicine for your OCD then go on a vacation and enjoy the seclution and meditate in the wild it helps alot. ALso tell your family where you will be at in case of an emergency. SO don't let life get you down it happens to all of us at one point of life. SO just pick yourself up and look in the mirror and see what a beautiful person you are and have a nice day

Jone Dear,
I have never let you down, have I? I have always looked out for you. I was your friend when everyone thinks you are not popular in school. I keep the mean girls as far away as I can. You have family to fall back on and you don't want to disappoint. What you are going through is what every great person went through. I have more troubled souls to take care of but you are special that's why I pay attention to you everyday. I have a kid in Africa who have not eating for days and stand a chance of being raped, tortured, killed by a militia man and yet still I make time to sooth your soul. Jone you are growing up and getting stronger. It takes an iron to straighten an iron. And you are a strong child, that's why I made you.
GOD
That's if am GOD.
Jone sweety count your blessings not your loses.

Hello..

My name is Curtis i have been an OCD sufferer and was lost in my life as well. I have attempted suicide several times but thankfully i never completed the process because i would have been missing allot of things in life. I can say that i have suffered with OCD to the point of being bed ridden and quitting my job and you could say quitting life also. Washing, checking, cleaning, perfection, scrupulosity you name it i have had it in my life. But when i started researching about how to fight Back! the OCD left and i have taken my life back through techniques such as ERP and other methods i am 98% recovered. As a matter of fact i am publishing a book about my life called "My Divorce With OCD"

I want to let you know there is help out there and if you cant find HELP! i will be here for you. There are also local OCD support groups in most major cities. They are very helpful with relating to others who have different OCD experiences. Anyways please email with any questions and i hope that you will never let OCD consume you but that you will learn to fight back!

I am sorry to hear what you are going through. Have you tried going to your family doctor if you have one and seeing if he/she can refer you to a counselor. I have been there and somehow crawled my way back to sanity. It is hard, you should not have to go through it alone. Does your family know what you are going through. . .or are they they cause of your breakdown? It sounds like you need a break from all your stress and just getaway to relax, before you lose yourself. Try and think about taking a trip, even if it is for a weekend alone somewhere to relax and find yourself. You need an escape, a break from all that is dragging you down. try journal writing and venting your frustrations out that way. It helps me.

I will pray for you.

Most counties have a mental health department, that will provide free counseling, or counseling for a small fee, if you can pay anything. Check government offices in your telephone directory, and call and make an appointment.

The doctors that provide the counseling, do so voluntarily, as something that is a duty to their community. YOU REALLY need to do this!

NOW!!

I would seek professional help, if you cant find a counselor or someone, then go to a regular doctor, maybe you need a mild antidepressant or something, if not physical, then a counselor for your mind is the best. Good Luck, there are lots of us who care, even if they didnt answer this ?

Everyone who has answered you has very good advice. One thing i noticed that noone suggested is, to me the starting point of helping ones self through any thing is....GOD seek a youth counsler at a local church. A minister/preacher, just someone from a local church to talk to. Pray. Try it, God will like it and so will you i'd bet. Find a church that your comfortable in. You'll know when you find it, you'll feel it.
