they are still singing...i saw them in concert last year. They have a new lead singer(i know it sounds like it'd never work!) his name is Steve something too but i don't know the last name. They still sound great. The new guy sounds JUST like Steve Perry. Steve Perry i think had "creative differences" with the band, although the official story was an injury or something. Listen to some of their newer stuff to hear the guy's voice. They still did all their old stuff in concert and the remaining members were all there.

I don't know the whole thing about taking care of his wife, but I do know that he had some major insecurities while in the band Journey. I saw VH1's Behind the Music on that group. He told his bandmates that he never felts like he was ever really part of the group. He went solo, but that didn't work too well. That's when you didn't hear from him anymore. It's a shame. One of the greatest vocalist ever. I still love hearing him wail on the song "Faithfully".

i'm particular adventure is back with a vengeance. the hot lead vocalist is a livewire and his type is eye-catching to the extra youthful objective audience. He became waiting to captivate the objective audience in the time of the teach. It became a non supply up relaxing for all and sundry. all and sundry will pass over Steve Perry yet human beings become previous and he's not what he was once. Arnel Pineda the hot lead vocal is somewhat versatile and crammed with power. adventure will proceed to Rock!

I'm not sure if this is 100% true, but Rolling Stone reported that he came down with a severe mangina infection and never recovered. Not even Mangisil could put a dent in it.

steve perry no longer sings for journey because he wanted to change the name of the band to Steve Perry and Journey....so they booted him. their new singer sounds exactly like steve perry, and they are still pretty damn awsome live.

what a voice ! I thought there was talk at one time that he'd go on his own. Who knows ? it would be good to hear him again, although like everybody else, he's older now. Sometimes, things change ! ya' know ?

Ahhh, yes, the old What Ever Happened to.....?
Well you might try to Google it....
I found a few sources, some that corroborate what has been said, others that spin a new story. See the sources....
