Just eat low-calorie things like celery or carrots. The work of chewing will make your body think you ate a lot of food.
Or eat fresh fruit instead of a meal - apples, grapes, peaches, watermelon, cantaloupe, any fruit with a lot of water in it is healthy and can help you lose weight.

Actually, eating food 5 times a day isn't a bad thing at all as long as the meals are very small. If you're looking to replace an eating addiction with an addiction to something else, how about an exercise addiction? Consume lots of caffeine so you'll be bouncing off the walls all day long. Caffeine is also a decent appetite suppressant.

Exercise, that way you can continue eating 5 times, and you'll gain muscle mass, and become healthy. Just make sure those meals have fruit and veggies, and take some kind of liquid multi-vitamin.

Also, fatty foods contain more calories, so gaining weight doesn't unnecessarily depend on how much you eat, but what. So, if you just like to eat, eat smart. An apple, for example, may be 40 calories, while a slice of apple pie 140. You could, then, eat more without storing as much calories.
