Past, Present or Future?

Where does God suggest my mind dwell most often?

present. we are forgiven for the past if we repent, and the Bible says not to worry about tomorrow.

That's rather a conundrum since it's difficult to separate the stream of time while it flows endlessly around us. The differentiation between past, present and future are perceived in human brains according to events and changes.

My days are filled working with elderly patients and disabled children. During the 'time' I'm with each my attention is looking at what brought them to this moment, why our paths crossed and what I might be able to offer them in order for their future to be better.

Listening to people (patients) you'll hear them give clues, albeit unknowingly most of the time, to what led up to their present situation. An example would be the person with a tumor in the intestines or stomach who admits that their loved one did something many years ago and they've never been able to digest why.

My mind, I guess, is on the continuum of time, seeing how each part effects the others and how any part can redirect the flow into new directions.

I'd imagine God would suggest you put your mind where it will most help others. :-)

We should dwell in the moment.

Unfortunately.....my mind tends to wander....past, present and future. It is difficult to maintain the discipline of focusing in the moment.

To make the most of Life it should be Right at the Present Moment. Then Again, Then Again so on so on.
Life is a series of Moments!!!

Hard to stay right there at the Present though!

Past - remembering nailing the ol' lady.

Future - dreaming about the next time I nail the ol' lady.

I am a red blooded male after all.

There is no mind or thought at all...being present.

God suggests to be present...and let go of thought.
