Wrong. I have the freedom from religion. If someone wants to save me, then they should get to know me first. I am not a cheap whore who goes with whoever has the best offer. I am a person who has thought everything through and have my reasons for not believing in Christianity. If you want to "save" me, you should, at the very least, know a bit more about me before you start preaching and condemning. As it is, Christians just get mad and take their toys and go home when challenged. That proves that they really are only about scoring the point - not about me or any other person they wish to save in the least.
My new rule - if you are gonna start trying to save me before you actually know me, then I charge $100.00 per hour.
I am not trying to be an a$$hole, but am trying to make sure Christians understand how offensive their words and actions can be.
Queen put it very well

And yet again....it hits the brick wall of some Christians mind. You people just won't get it will you. My soul isn't in peril. But you should look at your own.

Oh an Neeva...ticking me off isn't the worst that can happen if you witness to my daughter. You have NO idea how ugly it will get.

I try not to get into their one-sided battles myself. I know what I believe, and I know it takes others time and tests in their lives to get wherever. I was saved in a foxhole and what a test it was. Literally! I do not want to save anyone although I know the average Christian takes it as their job. I like the religious, and I hate they call it the religious. Long before there were religions there was only God, religion is a man made establishment. I will though tell you I have had so much religious education, and learned a lot of truths that the normal bible thumping christian knows nothing about. Meaning of words in the bible do not mean the same as we read them to mean today. The words do not mean what they meant when the bible was written, and if they do it is because man rewrote them. The actual authors of the bible does anyone know what the Q source is? I choose my battles and this is the one you choose to fight.

They say they are not a whore but then proceed to say that they will charge $100/hour. Confusing.
Actually many Christians use the very thing that queen complains about as an excuse to avoid witnessing. "Oh, I should wait until I get to know them better before I witness to them."
Well, what if that takes longer than expected? What if they are taken from this world before you have formed a suitable relationship with them? Oh well. Too bad.
What is likely to be the worse thing that would happen to you if you witnessed to them before you knew them personally? Well, in the US anyway, the worse thing that is likely to happen is you tick them off. Should you avoid them then?
When a person's eternal soul is in the balance I think the answer should be "no".

So, why do you converse with them? I pretty much stay away from this section because of this. I like the spirituality part but, the religious part gets old fast with all of the "barking". Check science and mathematics section; Alternative for paranormal etc. if your into that sort of thing. Half a nice day.

considering that this is the 2d time i've got considered this factor as we communicate, i could say, definite, others do. you would be able to desire to bypass to the communicate board and say some thing there. I agree that in the time of many cases there is better than one "suited" and it quite is a shame the positioning forces people to %.. a minimum of say some thing advantageous approximately the different good answerers on your comments -- no longer purely will it lead them to happy, in spite of the incontrovertible fact that it factors different readers to all the coolest solutions (while they browse or seek their thank you to the question).

It is not up to believers to convince unbelievers. Only God can do that.
As to being judgemental, you are correct in being offended. People who do that are not following the leadership of Christ...as he judged no one. It is good and proper that we judge sin...but never good or proper to judge the sinner as we are all in the same boat.

Yes, God gave you free will and you are free to decide what you want. I'm not going to "preach" to you, but truth is absolute. You cant say that what may be true for you is not true for me. There is one truth. Because God manifested Himself in my life so much I have come to believe in Him and develop a relationship with Him. But I do understand that if someone comes up to you and right off the bat tells you that you are a sinner and you are going to hell, of course you are going to be mad. All Christians claim is to know the truth that Jesus died for us and wants to have a relationship with us. That's something we can't keep to ourselves because it's eternity.

Well I am a christian and I think and believe before any christian should "bible beat" someone they should treat them as a friend, and show respect, and listen also.. In that perspective I agree with you. In fact, just as in anything else in life, people will want to listen to you (me as a christian) if you show them a little interest (listening to them).
And if they (the non christian) are interested and have question, you (me) are there to answer them honestly.
