I just want to know how many my hamster should be eating in one day. He seems to eat to much. He eats like three a day I think. Is this too many? Hes still a baby. Like under 3 months I think.

Three is about right. Most animals will not over eat. They are not like people who will keep eating even if they are not hungry. They eat when they are hungry and stop when full. Allow him to eat what he wants, as long as he is not excessivly overwieght.

It's what hamsters do. It's time to separate them all - Syrian hamsters do not live together well at all. It's just something you have to be prepared for. Now they are eating solid foods they are ready to be separated.

I don't use blocks I use Animal planet sold at Target, and the bags say 2 tablespoons a day on all the brands I have tried.

Are you sure he's not just hoarding them somewhere? Hamsters usually gather food in their pouches and hoard the food under their nests so they can snack at anytime. Did you witness him eating 3 entire blocks?

Just let him eat as much as he wants--he's growing! :)
