find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise and burns fat all over your body - we cant choose which body parts to lose it off, 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), light weight training (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)

Hey ,People put on weight for many a reasons ,It could be due to Happiness - sorrow - or after being in bed for a very long time due to some medical reason or accident. Or it could be due to the failure of your thyroid gland which usually helps the body to function properly- If you think you are bloating ,then you should take the T3 -T4 -TSH test to confirm the function of the thyroid gland. If one is putting on weight then it is hypothyroidism -If one is loosing weight then it is hyperthyroidism .Yes you should have an routine and control your diet .If you really want to reduce and look fit then try this
CHEW each MORSEL at least 50 times and only then swallow ,this should do the trick .Wishing you all the luck in the weight reduction .

I have the same body structure as you, stay away from dairy. It goes strait to the hips and thighs. As far as work out is concerned, the minimum is 30 minutes of anything that gets your heart pumping. If you're not that active I would start at 30 minutes and then move up to an hour. But you should work out at least 5-6 days a week. Drink plenty of water, be careful with exercises that work you thighs some of them make your thigh muscles bigger in results bubble legs. Look for something that is toning not building muscle.

its a bit hard at first but so easy after you get used to it.
As to the working out part, running, elliptical trainers, and kick box can burn a lot of calories in a fun way...i just listen to music and time flies by.

You should excerisice one hour a day. Good foods to eat..... fruits, vegitables, and meat. You can look on a cooking channel and see if the food is healthy. Make sure not to eat junk food too much . Once a week is good. If you do that you should get good results. I hope you get to your goal.
