Our society is all sue-happy. Why do you think doctor's visits cost so much??? They have to keep up with the malpractice insurance premiums that are skyrocketing from lawsuits!! If you knew you had gotten "bit by something" why didn't you tell your doctor you wanted to be checked for Lyme disease?!?! Doctor's are human and are more often than not, rushed and stressed. You have to be your own advocate when you go in there. You can't just sit in the exam room with a sad-face on and expect the doctor to read your mind !!! Life's tough, get over it!!

I'm trying to find out the same imfo. From what i hear it very diffecult to get a m/p suit against a doctor. I myself feels like the doctor screw me over. I had asked two others and they told me that they wouldn't of done it that way. So what do you do . Good Luck

You can do that at the state records office. They keep a close eye of all Dr's. who are licensed to practice in the state.
