Depends how old she is. If she is like 13 or 14 then she needs to listen to her parents. If she is closer to 18 then she should keep seeing him. You can't live your life based on what your parents want. Esp when it comes to love. You can't really choose who you fall in love with.

Assuming your friend is over about age 16, I think she should let her parents know.
I'm speaking from experience. I grew up with strict christian parents and boys were a BIG BIG no no! But I found this great guy once and hit it off great. So I told my parents. They wanted to meet this guy, so they had him over for dinner. They absolutely loved him. A few years later we even got married.
With parents, it's not so much guys in general they don't like. They just don't like the wrong type of guys.
So, if this guy is decent and respectable, I'm sure her parents will approve. All parents need to know is that their kids are safe. So, if this guy is a good guy, what is she so afraid of. Remember, our parents were once young just like us. They will understand! Trust me.

Yup Yup..I agree whoel heartedly with skatergirl..I didn't tell my mom about the guy I was dating and I told her about him later on and my mom lost a little trust in me..It took awhile to get her trust back. Tell her from now.

Who cares what her parents think..her parents aren't the one dating him.

So....if she's a minor she needs to break up with him.

Trust is necessary in any relationship and if she lies and hides a boyfriend she's breaking the trust her parents have in her.

How old is your friend? I believe should be a teenager.

Just take the relationship as JUST friends...

if you love your friend, why not remind her that she should respect her parents reminder, because its for her own good.
