Yes,like many UCC and other Liberal Protestant denominations. Many-if not most-traditional morally orthodox Episcopalians have left or have given up. In many other "mainline" denominations the clergy tends to be more liberal than the laity is.

Absolutely. In fact, Episcopalians are generally much more liberal than their Anglican counterparts in other countries, to the point that they are in real danger of losing their place in the Anglican Communion.

In the U.S., churches that identify themselves as "Anglican" are usually not Episcopalians, and these Anglican churches will often be more conservative.

That would depend on your definition of "liberal." As I recall, Episcoplalians (The Church of England) is very similar to Catholicism. I wouldn't think either of them would be considered "liberal" by my defination of the word. Yet, to some fundamental Baptists (for example) the fact that the Episcopalian Church ordains women to be their priests, vicars (or whatever they call them) that would be considered liberal.

I think them, the UCC and the Disciples are all pretty similar in theology, but Episcopalians tend to be more traditional in worship.
