how do you remove the evaporator core on a 94 olds regency?

Get all the old refrigerant sucked out, split the two lines to it under the hood, and then you will have to remove all of the plastic covers and some of the nuts that kind of squish the outer and the interior cases together. There is about five main nuts and/or screws that hold the two halves together. Then you will have to remove a ton of interior parts to access the duct work to remove the ducts. The case for the evap. core can then be removed and then the core comes out. This is a pretty big job and be careful as it does come apart fairly easily so don't yank or pry as something will break. As I remember there is one hidden bolt underneath that most people miss. It has to be removed from underneath the car. Good luck.

you must break free the bolts on the refrigerant lines then take all the screws out of the evaporator housing

you will need a special disconnect tool to separate the lines from the evaporator
