Guys, would you forgive a girl that was involved in porn videos but is now reformed and completely living a pure and celebate life? Would you date her after knowing this about her even though she has turned away from this lifestyle?

Obviously, the US porn industry has some health standards to keep their actors from contracting diseases. (I can only infer that your clean). In addition to that, the high aesthetic demand of the industry would require their actors to be pleasing to the eye. (I'm guessing your attractive). We should also note that female actors get paid more than male actors. (So you probably have a nice nest egg stashed away in an IRA).
The point to all of that? They're pros. However, forgiveness?
I would, honestly, not forgive the individual. Their past is their own. After all, she didn't wrong me in any way. If they seek forgiveness they should seek it from within or from a spiritual source. I would date her and accept her for who she is. We all have our own dark pasts.
You shouldn't worry about a guy because of your past. If he can't deal with it, pfft--- to the curve with him! Your past helped you become who you are now, right?

I would only be upset if I wasn't told about it before had... hiding stuff can really jeapordise a relationship and break it before it begins... I would not have a problem dating an ex-porn star, but would want to watch the movies with her to know what was involved and to build a relationship on trust and respect from that point on...

I don't think I'd hold it against her, but it's definetly going to be a part of who she is... It's not something that would be forgettable, but I don't think it's something that a lot of people would view negatively...

if I were you I wouldn't even mention it until someone is special in your life, and then if they dump you for it, there is something wrong with them. Everyone has the right to have a past. that is why it is called a past, because it is over.

well, it would take a really secure person to overlook that fact. personally, i think it would turn me on...never been with a porn star, but had a few strippers etc. and that actually turned me on about them...but, that's just me

What do you have to forgive her for? She did nothing to you. Her prior lifestyle was hers and is in the past, enjoy her in the present.
