Sinus problems lead to headache. I'd that when I's younger(teens). My mom brought me to see the doctor, the result was 0. When I grew older(early twenties) I went to my doctor, the result lasted for 3 months, then the sinus came back.
......(time passed by).... We(me & friends)started a new habit i.e. woke up real early, ran. I just didn't pay any close attention when my sinus actually totally GONE. Sinus gone, headache gone.
If you think you can afford time,do try it.
Good luck.

If it is a sinus infection the pain pills won't take it away. It's time for an Antibiotic and that means the doctor. Don't suffer anymore, go to the Doctor.

If you tip your head upside down, or put your head between your legs, does your headache hurt more? If so, then it is definately a sinus headache, try some decongestant tablets. Lots of things can trigger headache, stress, contraception, lack of sleep, dehydration, lack of exercise. Look after yourself for a week or so and if that gives no joy visit your doctor who will be sure to help out.

You probably have a sinus infection. It is not getting better until you get some antibiotics in your system. Usually sinus medicines are useless unless they come from behind the counter at the pharmacy. Because of the meth dealers using that in drugs.

I usually try to us ice if you lay an ice pack right across your forehead and onto your temples it usually helps. You might also want to try some allergy medication that is what my doctor perscriped to help get rid of my migrains along with some percription pain killers.

We have treated 15 & 20 yrs Migrains.
There is no medicine for H/A OR MIGRAINE. Not only these but for almost all painful diseases. Hence they become chronic.
If you suffer from excessive cough then it can be sinus otherwise not.
Acidity, excessive wind, cold , heat, sour food and sinusitis, constipation, intestinal inflammation;
Blockage in the flow of Vital Energy are their causes. None of them can be treated with medicine. Our 100% success in treating migraine &H/A confirms it.
Acupuncture is the best treatment. I can treat it with naturopathy and YOG, but how can you manage pl see.
Avoid late sleeping if possible;spicy, sour, stale bakery foods and alcohole.
Sweet foods, sweet fruits, milk with sugar at bed time preferably or meals, rice and good sleep will help you.
But you try one herbal remedy- two drops of drumstick leaves' juice in opposite nostril if one side pains and both nostrils if full H/A will give you rescue. Betel leaf helps but it isvery strong.

A serious headache for a week and nothing is working? has it beed strait pain or throbbing?
if nothing seems to work there might be something seriously wrong. i don't want to scare you but you might seriously want to see a doctor if it persists. Your head is precious and something going wrong there could kill you. i've had many headaches but not a seroious one for a week strait. ouch
take care of yourself. if something works do it but otherwise you have to get it checked out.
