What does black poop indicate? Not enough of what in my diet?

"black poop" cound indicate a gastrointestinal bleed. You should probably see your doctor just to be sure. Greenish/black stool could mean too much iron in your diet.

Black stools indicate blood in the stool which originates high up in the GI tract
or
You may be getting black stools from a multivitamin with iron or from something your eating.

Black poop can actually be a sign of internal bleeding...if I were you I would see a doctor. It's always better to be safe than sorry or worse.

it could indicate blood in your stool, better get it checked
