“Judge not, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven”
Luke 6:37
How do you interpret this since we are practically judging all the time, what are we missing out on?

This is without a doubt the most misunderstood verse in all of Scripture!!

In his book "True for You, But Not for Me," Paul Copan describes the fallacy in this all too common thinking:

It has been said that the most frequently quoted Bible verse is no longer John 3:16 but Matthew 7:1: "Do not judge, or you too will be judged." We cannot glibly quote this, though, without understanding what Jesus meant. When Jesus condemned judging, he wasn't at all implying we should never make judgments about anyone. After all, a few verses later, Jesus himself calls certain people "pigs" and "dogs" (Matt 7:6) and "wolves in sheep's clothing" (7:15). … What Jesus condemns is a critical and judgmental spirit, an unholy sense of superiority. Jesus commanded us to examine ourselves first for the problems we so easily see in others. Only then can we help remove the speck in another's eye – which, incidentally, assumes that a problem exists and must be confronted.

Matt 7:1-5 Hypocritical Judgement
When he says, "Do not judge, or you too will be judged." need I remind the reader again that he is speaking in a proverbial fashion? This is not a prohibition against judgement altogether, for not only Jesus spoke in a judgemental fashion, but Christians are enouraged to do so also. (Contrary to the philosophy of much of modern Christendom)

What business is it of mine to judge those outside the church? Are you not to judge those inside? God will judge those outside. "Expel the wicked man from among you." 1Cor 5:12,13
But what Jesus is talking about is that if you judge others, they will naturally judge you. Hypocrites often forget this. But this is simply human nature. Just try it yourself. Tell someone what's wrong with them, and almost inevitably they will tell you what's wrong with you.
But it seems many have the idea that they can be saved by simply not telling anyone anything bad about them, letting people be blind to their faults. That is not what Jesus is teaching here. Notice he says "then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.", encouraging doing so. Only one should make sure they themselves aren't a hypocrite first.

A judge passes sentence and since only the All-Knowing and All-Just God knows the mind,DNA and background of a person, only God can be the judge. All people are called to assess life and each other's actions, to discern right and wrong , and to that is not judging.

We are not perfect. We are human. I do my best not to judge people. When I find myself doing so, I ask God for forgiveness and understand that I am no one to judge anyone. I have done plenty of horrible things in my life. I pray that He will forgive me for those things. So, hopefully I'm not missing out on anything.

good Question I was gonna ask it too!

it's not my place to Judge your standing with God that's between you and him. Most people who Judge do it to make there self feel better "like I'm not so bad look at him".

The only one who can Judge is God and his word, if you ask someone for a opion on a particular subject {and they are a Christan} they should reply with scripture and allow it to correct , the bible does say " you will know them by their fruits" and to be" doers of the word not hears only, decieving your own self "

if God's word cuts to the heart of a matter its not the person who read it or quoted it fault, they didn't write the bible.

If you read the other religions teachings, the only one that states "I am the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, the First and the Last, the Great I Am" is the God of Abraham, Issac, and Jacob; the christian God. All others claim they are god but do not deny the existence of any other gods. There can only be one God and He will not allow another to take His place. That is what makes Him God. He is the only One.

We are not judging all the time. What do you think that word means, exactly? "Do not judge" does not mean "do not discern right from wrong."

The judgement that is forbidden is hypocritical judgement.
The judgment that is commanded is judgement according to God's Word.
