i dropped my friends olympus fe-140 digital camera on the stairs yesterday and now none of the buttons exept the power button and the zoom button work. and she doesnt know about it. how can i fix it without going anywere or paying anything ?

you can't ...

just suck it up and own up to what you did to your friends camera. Tell her what happened and that you are sorry about it and then offer to pay to have it fixed or replaced.

You owe it to her and instead you are trying to hide the truth.

I'll bet IF you could fix the camera without paying or going anywhere, you'd probably give her the camera back and pretend that nothing ever happened and never tell her.

I got the prefect solution for your situation!!!
The only thing that might work is if you can locate an Olympus camera technician (specializing in the fe-140) online that is willing to take you step by step through how to fix it. Maybe he will even send/lend you all the tools and software you need as well. This way it will be free and you will not have to go anywhere:)
