i need help!!!!!!! kk well my mom found my blog a week ago and (there was absolutly NOTHING WRONG WITH IT!!) she kicked me off the computer and i dont know for how long. im DYING!!!! does anyone have any ideas of what i can tell her that might convince her to let me back on the computer???? if so PLEASE PLEASE tell me wut they are!!!! thanx!!!!
o and the only reason im on now is cuz im not at home!! lol

As a mother if she thinks you are posting too much personal info online she has my vote for keeping you safe, sorry!

WOW.. your mom is REALLY overreacting b.cuz i didn't see anything wrong w/ any of your blogs!! there was NOTHING inappropriate or anything!!
my best advice would be to just talk to your mom & ask her for a specific reason why you are not allowed to go on the computer because you haven't done anything wrong & you really don't understand her punishment.. either that or try to save up enough money on your own to get a laptop or something.. if your mom can't chill out & be reasonable, maybe you could have your dad, older sibling or trusted adult relative talk to her about the situation..
that sucks & i'm sorry for you!! that is why i love being an adult.. i can do whatever the heck i want!! GOOD LUCK!!!!

I am a mother and I looked at your blog. If you were my daughter I would shut it down too. By looking at your blog I was able to figure out where you live and I have your first name and all your friends names. I also know your physical decription. I was tempted to email you posing as a teenager to see how much info you would give me, then call your mom. You do have too much info on your blog. The blog would fine if you took some info out. JMHO

Your mom feels you have broken her trust. Trust has to be earned. I am guessing you and your mom have talked about internet safety and possibly she told you NOT to blog?
Talk to you mom and offer a compromise. Use a family computer or blog when she is nearby (I know thats not what you want, but it's something).
The only way to get her trust back is to obey her rules. For instance, how do you think she would feel if she finds out you are on here right now?
Sorry, but it sounds like she is trying to protect you. There are a lot of bad things that can happen.

i had the same problem with my famiily. they're a bunch of idiots. i would suggest that you dont mention about the computer for 1-2 days. Then the 3rd day or so ask your mum that why she kicked you off the comp because you wrote a blog. I'm having this kind of family right now, they'd forbid anything, i'm >18 they're still treating me like that. Its really hard to talk to them, they always think we need their direction. They're just really......silly......

Clearly she thinks there is something on there that warrents attention, or she is unsure about the whole "post your personal information on the net" thing. Because when the net first came to fruitition i remember everyone going "o no dont give out any personal info they can use to find you" or something so she may just be harboring those original thoughts.
If possible enter negotiations & address her core concerns (whatever they may be). Its the only way you are going to get it back

What was on the blog?It must have been something offensive.Apologise to her and that might soothe her a bit.Tell her that you need the computer for schoolwork only.

Tell her you are going to receive Jesus Christ in your heart on the computer and then go to the spirituality and religion site and really ask someone how you can receive Jesus in your heart and then you can have information that will lead you down the right path all about Jesus not religious gobbledygook

Your mom is probably just worried about what you're doing online (meeting stalker/perv men for instance)
I would highly recommend just explaining to your mom what you were doing and why and by doing so she'll also see you're trying to gain her trust back, by trusting her with your diary or whatever you have on your blog
trust me - your mom knows more, has experienced way more and understands way more than you think she does

Be honest with your mother..Trust is a big key especially as you get older. Sit down with her, talk to her and ask her why does she think it's so wrong. Be mature about it! Show her you can be...and just tell her society is now via internet. That's just our generation.
