I'm already a kind-natured woman, so when I get kindness in return it's a blessing. I know that the Hand of God is at work..you can be kind to some folks, it doesn't mean you'll always get it back. I choose my friends, associates, internet contacts (lol) very wisely. I sensed your kind spirit, that's why I chose you as a friend. You have a beautiful warm, and uplifting spirit. One hell of a writer too!

I live my life by the Golden Rule. I know this seems like a passe sentiment to many people these days, but it works for me. I also believe in Karma. This is not because I believe that some mystic force rules my life. The idea is more simplified than that for me. It revolves around the idea that if you do good deeds and radiate positive energy it does have an effect on the world around you. The positives almost always return to you, not necessarily because others are also doing good deeds, but rather because you will always look for the brighter side and find it most of the time. In answer to your question though, I would be nice to you even if you weren't nice to me. The reason for this is no matter what your demeanor, I won't allow you to ruin my day.

Yes. It's just my personality. You have to push pretty hard for me to be mean back to you. My reaction to mean people, especially if I don't know them, is walk away wondering what the heck their problem is (but I don't usually say anything). Drives my husband nuts, say he's sick and tired of people taking advantage of my good nature.

Of course, I try to be nice to everyone, everyone has a good side, it takes another nice act to bring it out. Have a great day.

Yes, of course. Only a naturally hostile or an extremely stuck up person wouldn't.

You have never been nothing but nice to me. I can't picture anyone being uncivil towards you!!! It would truly take a heartless person to be mean to you! Of course you know I'd be nice.

Absolutely. Unless I misunderstood a question. That can be too easy to do, when a question is too close to one that's commonly used to insult some of us. Fortunately, we have the edit button.

Of course I would. How would we ever get anywhere in life if we couldn't at least be civil and kind to each other?
