so i just got my pc and i had a microsoft 60 day trial and now i dont have word etc and my laptop has it is there a way to get the code off the lap top i cant find the windows key or disc

If it was a 60 day free trial, then it probably expired. You may have to buy the full version either from the Microsoft website or a computer/electronics store.

He's correct new computers normally only come with a trial period for you to check out the software. After that you either need to renew the account on line or go by a CD ad a place like Wal-Mart.

The problem is that you had a 60 day trial and it expired. You have to buy the software.
You can also look into free, open source alternatives like Open Office and AbiWord, or you can buy something cheaper like MS Works.
