I cannot afford to pay Lexus to do this. Can someone advise me please? Thank you!

Just go down to your local autoparts store and have them look up what kind of filter you need. Most of the time they will have it in stock and if you ask they will come out and help you put it in. there are only a couple clips on the air box and it pops right out. pretty easy.

Go to the service guide. Not that hard.
And if you cannot do it go to Wallmart.
They will do it for a fraction of the cost.
