I was baptized as a new believer in "the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit." Later, I heard about the baptism in "the Name of Jesus," and was rebaptized.
Now that I have had some time to read a bit more and do some studying and praying and thinking, I now realize that the name means the authority of, so one should be baptized in the authority of Jesus - it's not some rigid formula.

I was baptized as a baby which I don't think counts. Then when I got saved I was baptized in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Then someone talked me into being baptized in the name of Jesus so I did just so as not to offend her. I was also baptized in a church that wanted me to do it again before I joined. I think the only time that really counted was the first one where I was immersed after getting saved. You must be a "Jesus Only" Pentecostal. Be careful. Some of their doctrine is incorrect.

Jesus said in the name of the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit, and the Apostles baptized in the name of Jesus..
I baptize people like this " In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and in the name of Jesus"
That covers all bases, but remember baptism does not save you !

I have twice.
The first time it was in Jesus name, and the second was in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit....wait, come to think of it I think it was all three, but it might have been in Jesus name also...now I don't remember. Anyway, that's not why I was baptized twice though. I don't think it makes a difference between the two as they are the same.

I haven't been baptized yet. I will when I feel that I can fully commit myself to God and Jesus and the way of the Bible.

Yes, once by water, and once by fire
In the Name of the Father the Son Jesus and the Holy Ghost
That is not as important as following on to know the Lord
