I'm trying to install the office 2007 to my computer and it
cannot copy the files. For example there is one file that
cannot be copied, the file is on the carpet Office.en-us
and the file is OfficeLR. Does anyone know how to fix this
problem? I install the software before to my computer and
I want to install it again but now I can't.
And there is several softwares I have on some cd's that
I want to copy to install but they give me similar problems
like this one. Please help me.

First, create a folder on the desktop to hold the contents of the CD.

If you want to copy all the files from the CD to your computer, and install it from there, press and hold down the Shift key while you insert the CD. Continue holding Shift until all lights stop blinking.

Then, double-click the CD to open. Click Edit, cl Select all, cl Copy.

Go to the folder on the desktop and paste.

Now you will have to look for the setup file and try to install.

If you are unable to do this, I can only conclude that MS has locked it.

Your CD might have some problem, like bad tracks. Try cleaning the disk itself and the disk drive.

Check the disc for scratches - even small ones can cause problems.

Also, it may be your drive either needs cleaning or replacing.
