My upper arms and stomach are feeling kind of flabby so I'd like to know some upper body workouts that exercise your WHOLE upper body (not just lifting dumbells and doing crunches, like my back and everything needs toned) and also some that are just targeted towards abs and upper arms.

this doesn't pertain to all of you, but I said "NOT JUST SIT UPS AND CRUNCHES" (thanks to you guys who actually paid attention to me saying that)

From my experience doing 1)push ups, either lying on the floor or if you have an exercise ball you can lay on that and do push ups,2) pull ups, 3)dips, 4)dumb bell curls, 5)hold the weights at your side and lift them straight out to your side no higher than shoulder height, 6)hold the weights to your side, feet shoulder width apart, push the weights towards the rear of you, lean over slightly, this works the lats and the muscle which women lose muscle tone first giving them the flabby underarm.
Really its just a lot of reps. Not a lot of weight and doing it 5 times a week.
Women's arms are the easiest part of their body to build up.
Good luck.

Well I used this belly dancing DVD by the those belly dancing twins and they have a work out that targets your arms and it improves with the whole upper body. You may want to try it becaues I did it for a month strait and my arms are nicely toned now.

Yardwork did wonders for me last year! We moved into a rental that the previous tenant did nothing about because he had a hip replacement. We were doing hedge trimming, cutting down young trees planting new flower beds and pushing a mower around, raking and hauling bags of debris helped tone up my upper body and I lost about 16 pounds.

Try the workout dvd from The Biggest Loser tv show, it cost about $10 at the store. After one workout with light weights you will feel it.

In my opinion, nothing is better than swimming, and especially the "breast stroke", the bonus being that you are doing an excercise that does not impact your joints, but builds up muscle around them, ultimately protecting them from injury.

you should try a boxing or self defense class, you'll work your arms when throwing punches, your abs when being instructed on how to dodge and duck punches, etc
