You know, God wouldn't have had the warning put in Revelations about adding to or taking away from the Bible if he didn't expect it.

If it matches with the oldest known manuscripts then it is correct. Language changes with time and geography. Most of 40 odd translations match with just a few words different attributable to time and distance and translators siding one way over another. It all balances out.

The Catholic Bible uses a formal equivalence translation - one that tries to match the original Hebrew, Aramaic or Greek word for word, phrase for phrase.

faith. I don't question it because it's God's word, and He wouldn't let it go wrong. the devil is powerful, but not that powerful. (but, I must say, I am biased, and the protestant Bible is more my type... idk.) My friend has been asking stuff like that to me because, although she is Christian and a believer, she is skeptical and has a lot of challenges. She believes that since it was written by humans, there could be a lot fo mistakes. I pointed out to her that these were chosen people by God and He knows what He's doing. (Although, they are still human in their writing - for instance, in the book of John, he indicates that he thinks he is the greatest disciple, james, being jesus' brother, was a skeptic of His works until he was resurrected, things like that.)

you could definatly broaden your question any book that has been copied by hand for over1600 years is bound to have a few misprints plus the bible was constucted by men there was a panel of men that decided what books to put in and what to leave out what if they left out the wrong one?

The Bible is a worldly book of words.
My Scripture is the Word of God.

IT SAYS SO! and the world of God is never false.
1)That which supports religion supports religion.
2)That which ignores religion supports religion.
3)That which contradicts religion supports religion - test of faith!
4)Anybody who criticizes is thereby proven unqualified to comment - and must be destroyed lest god(s) take offense.
