i uninstalled it but it keep coming up

This will only work if you have a version of Windows other than Windows 2000 (or any server editions.) Click on the start menu, then run. A box will come up. Type in "msconfig" without the quotes, and the "System Configuration Utility" will come up. Click the startup tab, and there will be a list of all the programs that run when your computer starts up. You should be able to find Limewire in the list. Uncheck the box next to it, then click apply, down at the bottom of the window. Click close, and it will prompt you to restart, which you will want to do. After you reboot, it should no longer startup. At that point, you should be able to make sure it no longer shows up in add/remove programs, in the Control Panel, by uninstalling it completely.

Did you delete it or uninstall, Limewire comes with an uninstall program. Hit start, all programs, limewire and uninstall.

you uninstalled it but it keeps coming up???:O so thats not LimeWire thats a virus that introduce itself as limewire. ok boot your computer in safemode and delete the directory that you installed limewire.
to boot your computer in safemode restart it and press F8 for several time until it gives you a choice to choose safemode.
you could stop limewire by right clicking on its icon on taskbar and select exit... limewire is a good program why you want to uninstall it? you can download everything you want just for free but beware : dont download any exe files from P2P networks

you probable do have a deadly disease. Is your limewire set to open whenever you initiate your computing gadget? this is undesirable specially. additionally, determine you administration your sharing. I extremely have an antivirus application merely in case... this is nicely extremely worth the investment.

What day you install it.. because if you remember a near date or the date you install it.. just go to START - ALL PROGRAMS - ACCESORIES- SYSTEM TOOLS- SYSTEM RESTORE when you're there just click "RESTORE MY COMPUTER TO A LAST PERIOD" and then a calendar will show up.. just choose the date you wanna restore... (If you're not sure of the day.. you can look all the dates until you find the right one)

I have a friend with that problem too. What you need to do is go to my computer, go to add or remove programs and right click on the lime wire icon to delete it
