They've been out of balance for a long time. I hear what you're saying. But for some women here, it seems that when it comes to romance they just throw all their wants and desires out the window. They forget about their feelings and focus on the guy. And most times it's a guy who is treating them like crap. Very sad.

It's the same reason that men don't ask for directions - because we're too "proud" to be caught not knowing how to do something...
I think a lot of guys wait for someone else to ask the question first - and just take the answers and act on them as if THEY were the one looking for advice in the first place!
That - and most guys are idiots. This is something that many women don't know - or pretend otherwise.
So that is why there are so many questions about what guys like... ;);)

No, it isn't like that. Men do ask those questions, and women give answers that usually fit one of these categories:
1) Very picky answers . . . typically narrowing down what they like to a description that fits about 10% of guys.
2) Very politically correct answers that don't tell us anything useful.
By the way, I should note that guys do still bear a lot of the burden. We have to ask women out almost always. Don't complain. Good night!
Oh yeah, men have insecurities from watching the media too. It isn't only women who have to live up to high standards.

Maybe they understand that if you really want to know what someone likes you ask them and not a bunch of complete strangers?
I can't understand why people are asking 90% of the questions on here. If you want to know something about the person next to you why would you run to your computer and ask people who know nothing about that person?
The answer to all of them including "what do men like" is, just ask the person sitting next to you. Prove what great communicators you are and communicate with that person.

Because woman, unlike men have a media imprinted insecurity about themselves and their body's and seek approval from men to ease this, men however have been told its perfectly fine to have a gut the size of a keg and a belt buckle the size of Texas to hold it up and have a sticker on their truck or wear a shirt that says "No fat chicks'!
