I am exploring C.S. I have not had any healings. Is this for real, or not? Does it take awhile for Science and Health to sink in, and is it true that reading the book repeatedly can "cure" you of long-standing illnesses? Thank you.

No, praying cannot cure people. No amount of praying gets rid of an autoimmune disease.

As for a 'limb' growing back - I have heard of such a case that it was also reported in The Journal of American Medicine I believe.
There are thousands of cases of all kinds of healing!
If you do not believe what any one says as many do, then why ask?

I think Christian healing science works in the same way shamans of tribespeople and placebos work.
The human will is amazing and still not completely understood. If the will to live is strong, or if you believe that something is curing you...your body responds to that.
Look at people who have taken placebos, and changed their behaviors, or testified to better health...and then were told the pills they took were fake?
It's all in the human heart, my friend.

A month later his sprained ankle got better.
