I make smoothies every morning (I think it's even contributed to my weight loss). I use bananas in mine, but since you don't like them, you can use other fruits. Just be sure whichever fruits you use that you freeze them first-this will ensure that your smoothie is creamy and not watery. I usually use fruit like mandarin oranges, strawberries and pineapple. I put those in a blender with 2 tbs of ground flax seed and 3/4 cup of milk (soy or regular). The protein in the flax keeps you feeling full for several hours. Hope this helps!

You can use mango to thicken it instead of banana. Add fresh or frozen berries of choice and 1 cup vanilla yogurt - and if you have some sorbet around, any flavor, toss a scoop of that in too. Experiment with different flavors.

I also like to add 1 tbsp flaxseed oil - it has tons of omega-3s and you can't tell it's in there.

Try this! I call it "Uncle Bingo's Master Blaster" at the restaurant I chef at. Good chocolate ice cream, fudge sauce, orange juice, chunks of pineapple. Very rich! Very tasty! Enjoy.

My advice is just to experiment. You know what fruits you like so just start mixing. I find that sometimes I come up with some great foods and drinks just by mixing different ingredients that I know I like. Just be sure to make small amounts in case it doesn't turn out well. Good luck.
