CA....I know, I just moved to NV from CA and am completely blown outta the water on the registration fees (06 CRV tags: $411 in NV, $200 in CA) and what you have to do to simply get a NV drivers license. The lines in NV are tremendously long (worse than CA), they do not have the appointment system....car insurance, sky high!!!! The DMV out here makes absolutely no sense....if you can keep your stuff in CA, do it.

Check the website for each state, I'm guessing Nevada will be cheaper and have less concern with emissions then Ca.

Nevada.

Now... insurance? that's a whole other matter -- it depends on where you live in either state, but Las Vegas is pretty high for insurance.
