I'm not over weight. I am 5'4'' and about 125 pounds. Recently I started running everyday but I can't run for more than a few minutes. (even after a few minutes I can't breathe and my heart is beating so fast.) and when i say i can't breathe i mean it feels like i can only get half a breath in. Am i just out of shape or do i have asthma or something? the same thing happens with biking and swimming and every kind of cardio.

It's normal. You just have to pace yourself a little better. If you go for as long as you can for one week then push yourself a little harder the next week and a little harder the next week and so on, you should find yourself breathing better because you will be getting used to the steady push forward. =^.^= It happened to me and I used the same advise and I'm breathing better while I'm running.

No this is not normal and you need a complete work up by your doctor to find out what it is.

no way for us to know. if you want to work out at that level you should visit your doc and get a check up. he's the only one who can really give you an answer.
