I've thought of getting married on 12-21-12, assuming I'm looking to get married at the time.
Personally I don't think the whole world will "end" then, but I think there will be a major change. I think it might be when the New World Order will take over, but I could be wrong.
And the world will never "end" unless it gets obliterated by something. Only parts of it will end, like our society, animal life, plant life, whatever the extent may be.

HEY PEOPLE WHY AREN"T YOU DOING ALL THOSE THINGS NOW? (at least the legal ones)
I would try to be were I am. Where ever that is.
As Ben Franklin said, it is not how long you live life that makes a good life, but how well.
If you look at your day, and how you spend the time ... is it here .... or is it in you head? Is it now, or yesterday, of in an hour ......
And somehow, we think that the question is theoretical. But really, if you die today .... does the world still exist? And how do you know? How do we know that we are here, we are real. How do you know this isn't the MATRIX? ;-) We all want to believe something. .... but do you really know? Really, really?
hmmmm I have to go think about that!

change my weekends from 2 days to 3 or 4, take a trip to alaska, find mel gibson just to shake his hand :), try to spend more time thanking our military and homeland (police, ems and fire) men and women who will give me the next 5 years free and healthly and i have always wanted to spend a month in vegas - at the end of 5 years i cant take the money with me so why not lose it.

I would try to find a way to live on another world. If not I would put as much information about earth in a bunch of spacecrafts and send them on various trajectories. If there happens to be any other intelligent life out there it would be nice that earth wouldn't be completely forgotten. As for myself I would try to make sure my daughter had a blast. I would ride as many rollercoasters as I could. I would try to see as many places as I could. I would try to stay away from people who were freaking out.

it doesn't really matter how many years we have left. nobody really knows. i mean, today may well be your last -- you might just be hit by a speeding car when you cross the street, or something like it -- hence, you'll be dead before the world ends...
