so yea, i was going to tell you the Dervish and the Dungeon, but the guy above me already did.
the dervish is, i guess "more goth" with a few gutter punks hanging around here and there (lower decature) its next to Angelis and across from Mojos.
the dungeon is more "metal" on the corner of Toulouse and Bourbon.
Shops? like clothing? Wicked Orleans, it used to be Gargoyles.

Probably the best known for Goth is the Whirling Dervish.

Besides being the longtime home of the most popular goth night in the city on Sundays, there's pretty much something going on there every night of the week, including but not limited to their Metal Church Thursdays and a monthly fetish night called Moulin Vieux. Several live DJs spin a variety of musical styles, and hot bartenders make strong drinks. Though it's had many names over the years, the Dervish has been around forever and is an established part of Lower Decatur culture. Get in on the experience.

And the two have their ghost memories. often, i can not think of of any club that would not require you to be a minimum of 18 to get in. yet there is lots stuff to be certain and various procuring and sightseeing. So whether you may no longer get into an certainly club you have got various enjoyable. have enjoyable, yet do be careful. New Orleans, like each large city, could be a risky place.

AWESOME.

I am from Baton Rouge, and go to Mardi Gras every year.

There are tons of things to go, including the Voodoo Tour. Believe it or not, the most dark stuff can be found in the French Quarter as opposed to Bourbon Street.

Make sure you take time to check out Jackson Square and have breakfast at Cafe du Monde...EXCELLENT beignets!
