In about 1989 in the Panhandle of Texas I was driving at about 5 am. In a flash I saw something white fly across the front of my hood and looked right at me. In an instant it was gone. It seemed to be sleek with white hair. Was I halusinating? I can still see it in my mind.

It is quite possible to have a hallucination when tired and particularly if you had a low blood sugar at that time. An illusion is the misinterpretation of an event such as has been mentioned by someone already - like a bird flying across. The least likely is a demonic manifestation.

OK Don't freak out but I saw the thing looking at you. It looks like a banshee or a specter. It has bleach white hair and the appearance of a skeleton. It is pointing at the passenger seat next to you. There is no one else in the car with you. This can mean only one thing that someone is about to die. It is not you because it is pointing at the passenger seat. I feel the real danger of its presence. This is a warning to you. Please heed it. My e-mail is thedukeej@yahoo.com if you need more help.

Possibly a bird.

The mind is an incredible tool, but it does have a habit of recognising patterns that are not really there. Seeing object in clouds, faces in bits of toast etc.

Since you 'saw' something look at you, your memory will add to what you 'know' you saw, which just compounds the illusion.

There have been times for me after having driven long hours that I would see things as well. Not to rule out the paranormal, but it was more likely due to driver fatigue.

This world is an illusion. You were not hallucinating. Ask yourself..where were you going? What was going on with you at the time you saw 'it'? What were you thinking? What was going on in your life at the time? The answers to these questions will provide clues to your mystery.

Actually, I cannot tell you what it was you saw because you did not give much detail. But be assured that whatever it was, it was real: if you can imagine it, then it exists, somewhere. This is a spiritual fact that many people do not realize.
Sometimes, our dreams can tell us more about such experiences.

Kids, drugs are bad. Driving while under the influence is bad. Driving while sleep is bad. Just say no!

I wonder if it was a deer or a coyote? Both could appear to be white in your headlights.
