Tainted Love was paired with a cover of Baby, Where Did Our Love Go - using this format, Soft Cell technically had two hits.
I'm going to go off the board and select Paper Lace - The Night Chicago Died as the most interesting one-hit wonder song.

Well Twisted Sister had a hit with I WANNA ROCK, so they aren't a 1 hit wonder.
Skynyrd had a bigger hit with SWEET HOME ALABAMA, so they are not a 1 hit wonder.
Of the remaning three I'll take Macarena. I have no idea what they were saying so that was a good thing. But it did give birth to a really lame dance, so that is a drawback.

it was Macarena
I don't understand why Free Bird's up there.
HELLO!?!?! SWEET HOME ALABAMA? WHAT'S YOUR NAME? OOOHH THAT SMELL? COME ON MAN! lol
Tainted Love came in a close second.
We're not Gonna Take It is somewhat a one hit wonder considering they do have I WANNA ROCK! and as for Vanilla Ice, it's got that itty bitty ting that makes it different from the others. ;-)
