Well most everyone agrees that a sin is a sin, there are no "little" sins or "big" sins and both cursing and saying Jesus in a none reverent way are sinning. I guess you could say cursing is just using common or vulgar words, while saying Jesus is taking the Lord's name in vain which is specifically spoken against in the bible.

Depends on the context, you are using when you say the
word Jesus.
A lot of folks use Jesus where a lot of better words would fit !
You just got done banging your finger with a hammer, don't say Jesus ! If the word Jesus is used in ANY un reverant way; it becomes a curse word. Jesus Christ is the only begotten son of Almighty GOD !
instead of discreditting Jesus's name try: gosh; dang it; ooops; owe; etc.....

When you say Jesus, you say Jesus.
Simple.

well cursing is saying a bad word, saying Jesus is pretty much bad to any body who believes in god and jesus and stuff (if you know that some one beleives in god then dont say "oh my god" or "Jesus" around them, if you are a christian or catholik then it is a sin to say it

Cursing is condemning someone with words. Taking the Lord's name in vain, is using it disrespectfully.
