Yes it is a fruit. If it has a seed it is a fruit
Sorry dude, watermelon is still a fruit, I don't remember what State it is but someone in the legislature authored a bill to make watermelon a vegetable. Doen't change the fact that it is the reproductive organs of a plant. There was once a court decision that a tomato is a vegatable.

If it grows on trees, it is a fruit. If it grows on bushes and smaller plants, it is a vegetable. It's just a technicality actually. Like, olive is a fruit, but water melon is a vegetable. Funny but true.

Fruits are defined as seed pods. Which is what an olive is. It is the seed pod of the olive tree.

Yes. It grows on a tree, therefore it is a fruit. Avocadoes are also fruit. They are a type of pear. And Tomatoes are fruit, technically of the berry variety.

anything with seeds in them are fruits. Veggies are leafs, roots and other parts of the plant.
Squash and pumpkin are fruits as are tomatoes. They just 'seem' more like veggetables than fruits.
