I am having trouble with people pronouncing my name and spelling it. I spell it Jihan most people spell it Jehanجيهان

I think جهــان is right, pronounce as Jahan or Jihan.

For the first letter, it depends on which form of Arabic you speak. If you are from Africa, I would spell it with a "G." If you are from the Middle East, however, I would spell it with a "J." (While Arabic doesn't necessary tell the difference between these two sounds, English very much does.)

Assuming that you a from the Middle East, I would spell it Jihan. Most anglizations I have seen with ya' as a long vowel have written it as "i". The 'alif after ha' is typically written in English as "a".

I rarely see the "e" used in an Arabic word at all, with the exception of some alternative spellings of words with a final ya'.

If you want to write it the way it is pronounced, then "Jeehan" is more accurate, but of coarse in English, these little details don't really matter, so it can be either one.

Pick the one you feel most comfortable with.
