"Only with difficulty does one die for a just person, though perhaps for a good person one might even find courage to die. But God proves his love for us in that while we were still sinners (that is, unlovable) Christ died for us."

Well, I once made the choice that almost led to that. My wife, who was with child, was basically drowning. I had to make a choice to put her safety first. As a result, waves were coming in from my back side and I was taking in water. Obviously it worked out for all of us in the end, but I would have lost my wife and son if I hadn't done that.

I would die for my wife and kids if that is what I had to do. One, I know where I am going when I die.
Two, my wife and kids would then be rich.

Yes, I have put myself in jeopardy for the safety and well being of others many times, and I am sure I will again, even if it eventually costs me my life.
