I just found some brown rice in my cupboard that I think is over a year old maybe more. Can this go bad or is it still edible?

If it has not been infested by insects it will be fine.

It's perfectly edible. But check it for bugs. And do an extra rinse before you make it and really look at it. Otherwise rice keeps for a long time.

As long as it has been kept dry and sealed it'll be fine. But check it for mold and "weavles" (little crawly things), just to be sure.

depends on how its stored. If air tight container, rice can last years, if not, it can get infested with insects.

I don't think that rice can go bad since its dehydrated. that preserves it.
