Eat them, eat them, yes you should! Eat them with some dill, eat them with a sandwich from the grill! Just eat them already! They're made from potatoes just like all other fries are.

In SHakespearean times, fish and chips was more like potato wedges and fish dropped into boiling fat and served on a piece of paper with some vinegar. I don't think the world will implode if you have steak fries.
