In my last question, I got this "brilliant reply"

"Obviously the marriage tradition was handed down with the sons and daughters of Adam and Eve which would cover EVERY human from creation on."

Evidence? Also, what other tradition has been handed down from Adam and Eve?

And why is Adam and Eve only spoken about in the desert of Isreal? Why don't the Chinese or Native Americans speak about Adam and Eve? They can hand down marriage but not the story of the first people?

1) All started with Adam and Eve (the human family that is)
2) God spoke to and taught Adam and Eve.
3) God Himself married Adam and Eve
4) Adam and Eve taught their children
5) Some of the children followed after what Adam and Eve taught and some didn't
6) The Children that didn't spread out and made various versions of the teachings they had from their parents, but because the Prophet (Adam) wasn't there to make sure that the interpertation of things stayed true...it got perverted...
7) Each subsequent generation put their own spin on the teachings and they were perverted even more
8) Things get so bad that everyone is wiped from the face of the earth except Noah (the Prophet) and Family.
9) After the flood the families began to fan out and the whole process started over through various family lines.

Honestly i don't know why you have "handed down..." in quotes... where are you quoting from?? not the bible. I've read this genesis story fairly recently (in the King James version) and have never seen this story speak about marriage. All I read was that Adam "knew his wife" and they had kids... However, I do believe this story is fictional... but as they say, every story has a grain a truth... must be a small grain, but the truth behind any of this story is one I'm still questioning...

Your question supposes much.

If your conclusion were correct, then marriage would not have come down to other people.

Nearly all cultures have a flood account in their histories.

If they do not have an Adam and Eve account, then it proves nothing, for it is impossible to prove anything through a negative.
