I see posts all the time in here asking why non Christians are here , why Atheists are here etc
and yes I know this is a minority ( because there are some cool Christians )
but for those who ask this , what would it leave ?
you know your book , your religion .... you all claim to be pretty sure of the answers
so what would you discuss ?
aren't there sites already that just cater to Christians ? why not go there if that is what you want ?

seriously I am not bashing here , but genuinly curious
I have my own beliefs , and believe in God .... and I welcome the comments and questions from the Atheists and people from other religions because I like to ponder things , I love to learn
why don't you ?

I think probably because Christians in general want people to know Jesus Christ, because once you know Him, you understand how awesome He is. But, I say bring all the different faiths to R&S. There's absolutely nothing harmful about peaceful discussions involving spirituality. It helps us all learn, question ourselves and beliefs, and "firm up" our faith. Spiritual exercise is even better than physical exercise, in my opinion. Peace.

There are "some" cool Christians?

83% of Americans profess Christianity.

6% of those are the loathsome and noisy pseudo-Christians of the RRR Cult, who spew and promote hate-agendas against personal liberties.

The other 94% of professing Christians are our ordinary, generally tolerant, and pretty cool friends and neighbors... who are quite tolerant people, on the whole.

That's a LOT more than "some."

star for you

I think if all the non christians left- leaving this an all christian site, people would begin arguing by denomination, then arguing by who was saved earlier in life, then by who is taller until there is no more one-upping to do... the very last person will flame the wrong person in the LGBT section and that will be the end of R&S... I think that's about how that goes.

Some days, I wonder why any of us are here.

Seriously,I am a Christian who welcomes all to the forum with open arms.....come on in and join the mass confusion. I think we should prostelitize the Holiday section.....or maybe...a raid tonight?

I understand what you are saying – but I think people get tired of the people who come on here just to try to get a reaction from Christians. There’s nothing wrong with atheists asking questions but people come on this forum to specifically write hate messages to Christians. It’s completely childish.

I like it here just the way it is....i wouldn't change anything...I haven't seen any questions like you have suggested..but i haven't been here as long as you have, and don't spend as much time here, so maybe I've missed them. If i see a Q which contains animosity, i just move on. I'm here to learn and hopefully make a difference for the better... : x )

sorry, forgot to say Jesus is my Lord...so you know where I'm coming from..xxx

I agree... it's called Religion and Spirituality, not Christianity. I think they should make a subtopic for that so that all the complainers can go there.

Christianity is just one religion, and all religions can be represented here in R&S.

to look through an others eyes. to get closer to answering the question "why". there is an interesting teaching of Buddhism, "many paths one destination". we all came from the same place we are 99.9% the same, it is amazing how much we argue about where we all came from and about where we go when we die. what matters is that we are here now and how we live our life

We don't wish that non-Christians leave. We just want the bashing to end. Why is that such an unreasonable request?
