Hi. I work from home with AmeriPlan USA. There are no Scams, Games or Gimmicks. They are a solid company and have been featured on TV's "60 Minutes", Wall Street Journal, New York Times, US News and more! . What I like is the fact that there are no products or paperwork involved!!! All work can be done online! We do get benefits and receive checks daily in the mail......which I love. Also we receive unlimited training and the support is great. I have tried other work from home businesses and this is the only one that has ever worked for me. You can work PT or FT. You are welcome to check out my website. http://www.besthomebizusa.com

My beloved's sister legitimately works at home- I think she's a webmaster or something.
It's VERY VERY VERY hard to do, to find a legit job like that, and you'll never find it searching online.
The biggest question is: are you willing to do sales work? If you are, just represent a manufacturer or two in a field of your choosing (there's mega ads all over Craigslist etc.) and that should give you the vehicle to do as much working at home as you wish.
If you're not willing to sell, then you'll probably need a special connection to be able to work at home. These start with finding a job, and some jobs don't require (or even allow) you to work from their office (if they even have one.)
Just my opinion, but I'd count on it.
WHY do you want to work from home? That's also very very relevant.

I make a decent income and get get benefits like 401k, health benefits, accidental death and dismemberment insurance, 5 e-commerce sites, training provided everyday via the net, phone, or regional offices. I have 250 customer care people taking care of my sites, members, and providers across the nation.

Yes and no. It depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for something that you have to do minimal work and make thousands like some advertisements you see then I don't believe you can. I believe those are scams, and you end up paying money for them.
Now, there are two different types of work at home income. Work at home JOBS are like telecommuting. You have a boss and guaranteed assignments. You get those done in a timely fashion and you've got a paycheck, and you probably don't have to pay anything (unless it's something like transcription work and you're paying for your equipment). But your time isn't as flexible with this type of work.
Then there are work at home BUSINESSES. These usually do require some sort of money from you but this is okay if you are paying for products. Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, Avon are some of the well known one for this type of business. I'm in Watkins (see my profile if you're interested -- it's been around since 1868 and provides the best quality kitchen spices, mixes, etc. in my opinion!) When you join one of these companies, you are paying for your business to get started. You can't start a business without something to sell, material to provide information, etc. If you are paying for this type of thing it's okay. The amount you pay depends with each company. You should be very sure to know exactly what you are paying for.
Now, I stress that you should NEVER have to pay money for lists of "prospects," just for "information," etc. You should only be willing to pay money to a very reputable company for products. Anything else is a scam.
Now that I've made clear the two different type of work at home opportunities, you've got one of the most important things to figure out: What are your passions, hobbies, etc. What do you naturally enjoy doing? Any type of work you do from home needs to be something you won't hate. It doesn't matter if your neighbor is truly making a million bucks with ease with some company, if you don't naturally enjoy doing that type of thing, you're going to be lucky to make $10. Does this make sense? Think about what you like to do and go from there. There is something out there for nearly any type of niche. For example, I love to write so I went into newspaper work and then started to freelance once I quit my job to be home with my children. I also love to cook so Watkins is a great fit for me. Also, I enjoy helping people so I started doing web stuff that provided resources for people (see my profile).
Okay, the last thing: There is one thing that you can do that won't cost you anything. Google adsense can be set up for free on a free blog and you can make money doing this. BUT it takes time, time, TIME and patience, patience, PATIENCE and WORK to see significant income this way. It takes a while to get the kind of traffic you would need to make this a reliable source of income.
If you're looking for ideas on legit opportunities, I suggest you check out wahm.com. They have SO much information there. I hope I've been of some help! : )

The first thing i would ask is What do you like to do? once you answer that question, Then figure out how to do it without buying someone elses program.
in 1999 i hurt my back and decided i would make my living on the net. and i have done it. I make a good living right from my computer.
Find something you like and you will become good at it, you will have the passion, and then you will do well.
There are millions of things you can do from home, YOU have to decide what YOU LIKE!
