I was wondering how screwed I am in dating and finding someone decent and worth dating.
I found out a couple of years ago and my spine isn't straight anymore. It's not bad belive me it's not and you can hardly tell unless I wear a swimsuit. Can't even tell from the front.
Anyhow how screwed am I in dating? I mean I'm not ugly or anything and never had a hard time dating someone. But what I'm scared of is scarying them off.
So what I want to find out is if it's just a waste of time looking if it's a huge isssue.
Please be honest with me.
Thanks.

Well yeah the guy would be shallow but most seem to be nowadays. At least that's my experience.
I just thought the guy would be embrassed or something.
And yeah I can see how it's a confidence problem but most people don't have this now do they. You'd be self-conscious too.

dont worry about it all
i have scoliosis and some other back problem.. and its not all that noticable..
when i told my boyfriend he said it was sexy.. which was an attempt at making me feel better about it but whatever.
bottom line is it shouldnt affect your realationships unless the guy is really shallow

It sounds like you have serious confidence issues. An average woman with great personality is very attractive to guys. A gorgeous woman with serious confidence and insecurities is either a piece of meat, or a turn off. Be the former, not the latter.

I don't think you have anything to worry about. Its about what's on the inside that counts. If a guy only wants you for your body he ain't worth the time of day. There's someone out their for everyone. Sometimes it takes them a while to find you. Good luck and don't worry.

I doubt if it would be a huge issue. Back problems are a common occurance. A guy would have to be super shallow to even consider it a factor in dating you.

I am not a guy but your not screwed beleive me!! My cousin had the same thing you did and like you it wasn't noticable unless she told you and looked really close and she has dated and is a beautiful girl. Dont let something like that lead you to beleive that your not worth dating.

There is someone who will love you no matter what. Don't worry, when you find them, it won't even matter that your spine isn't straight. Trust me, every girl has something about herself that she isn't comfortable with, but we learn to deal with it, & guys like a girl who's confident, but not cocky.

Joke about it.
They'll either joke back about something their embarrassed about, or just be weirded out and leave, so you don't have to waste your time with them.

This is something that will get worse as you age. Check it out with a doctor tomorrow. I think it is called Spina Bifida or some such thing.
