I 'm a cadet airman basic, I just got into CAP. I'm in the Lousiana Wing and I have 14 boys and 2 other girls in my sqaudron. I haven't actually met them yet but I want to know if sexism is common in other CAP Cadet sqaudrons like it is at the Armed Forces academies. I'm just trying to find out as much as I can about the character of the CAP cadet program as possible before my first meeting next Monday night.

I have to wonder why you're asking that here when there are only 16 kids and a few adults who know the answer for sure and they're NOT here. Talk to your new squadron mates.

If this was a concern of yours, you probably should have checked it out before you joined.
What difference does it make? If you enjoy what you're doing.
