Okay, so...
I've watched it in PowerDVD and taken screenshots during one of the files (out of a few files) but the other ones don't have a camera option. Of course, when I take a screenshot in Windows Media Player, and paste it into paint, it just is the video playing...in paint. Anyways, I have already tried putting the acceleration of the video down, but nothing seems to work. Does anyone know what I can do? I really would like to take screenshots of the video to show my friend.

Yeah, that wont work. you need a program that can take images from the overlay that DVD video drivers use.

however:

in WMP (version 9 and above):
Ctrl+I

##########################
in windows media player:

tools, options, Performance Tab, Click Advanced near the bottom, UNCHECK use overlays under the VIDEO ACCELERATION.

Click ok,

Restart media player.

EDIT: If ur watching a DVD, i guess you could also uncheck USE OVERLAYS under the DVD section too. Though, it might still work if you don't uncheck it under the DVD section.
