Half my family & relatives are abroad it hardly matters when they are here, they stay & remain as cool they were before going there & we treat them the same way. Now India has changed a lot if you thing getting some thing from there for relatives out here then just forget it we got all your brands selling freely with hardly any buyer for them, you name them we got them so remain cool yourself when you fly down back home as no one will bother you for such things here coming from America or abroad is no big deal now its just a few hours journey you make to join the family out here.

In my experience, I don't think so. All ppl seem to want is wads of cash from u, or expensive things from u; because since ur from another country, u must be millionaires or something. My cousin admitted it himself; when he was in India, he thought all his rich relatives from America had it easy and also made money the same way. But after he left for America, and lived there for a couple of years, he relized that his kin worked really hard for their cash, and in some ways, living in India might be a lot simpler. It's not really considered cool anymore, especially since bush took over. But ppl know u have money, so they wonder why u can't spare any and take it as an insult if u don't give any. Then it's like, ur from america, but what do u have to show for it? ANd, especially if ur from another country, they watch u like a hawk and scrutinize ur every move. This is y I kinda know what celebs go through.

I am from India, and now I am in America! It doesn't matter where you are from! It is not consider as cool! Same with the other coutries and states! I know you are cool no matter where are you from or what you are doing! Just remember you won't change your personality even if you go to the most finest place in the whole wide world! I hope I helped! Good Luck!

No, There are lots of people coming and going to America these days. In some village people may stare at you being white skinned and most Indians think Americans are very rich.
There is nothing like considering you " cool " , what doest it mean ? you are a human being as any other in the world and you deserve the same respect and welcome as others !
Enjoy your trip ..

If u are in America people thinks " let us wait and watch when this bird is gonna fall back to india "
And when you return from there people says " See i told u he cant survive there its too tough "
thats the mentality!

I never knew it was a big deal. We don't care if you come here, you just have to do it legally and you'll be cool regardless.

If you are a simple and honest "Human being"... India is cool.
Be transparent.. and what is that you are talking about deal! which gives a suspicious image of yourself.
