it's so sad that people are so corrupted that they can't believe someone doesn't masturbate. Or is too righteous to do so. I don't masturbate.

I don't masturbate either. It is against God's word.
And no there are no disadvantages. Think of it this way you will only know your wife and prayfully she will only know you. That way there is only learning about each other.
