I had a boy as a friend, but I think he might have thought I wanted more because I called him on the phone once and went to his house a lot and had him over. Is it ok to have a guy over to your house that you don't like romanticly?

I've got Asperger's too, and what I ended up doing was just trying not to worry about it. I just focused on whether or not I was interested in them, and if I was, then I'd make the first move or be the initiator. The plus side is that if you're a girl and you make the first move, guys will pretty much never turn you down.

Hi there,
I believe you should make it very clear from the very beginning. Otherwise, it might create some misunderstanding in the future.
Does your friend know that you are an aspie? If yes, then it would be easy for him to appreciate your frankness. Yes, it's better to be candid about it, rather than looking for social clues.
Even NTs have problems at times about the topic you have mentioned.
Good luck :-)

I have not known I have Asperger's for very long so I am still learning about it I am studying an on-line book called
A survival guide for people on the autistic spectrum
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/A_survival_guide_for_people_on_the_autistic_spectrum
There is a chapter on dating you may find helpful

Sorry I can't give more direct advice but my dating history has been less than exemplary

Hi. I agree with some of the other peoples' answers, that it's the best policy to be upfront with the boy about having Aspergers. Whenever I was in relationships where I was upfront about my condition, any guesswork about what she meant (or felt) went away. Good luck!!
